This is a devlog of a software to control Trackmania dedicated servers. My intention on this blog is to explain a little more about the software, and announce any news about it.
Now I realise that the records I made were shown on dedimania , but when I play the same track again the local record stay good but dedimania records has gone .. Is that an error or we just can see dedimania records but if I make a nice record e doesn't stay in dedimania ???
Make sure the ReadOnly property is set to 0 (zero). Also, dedimania only store records above 6 seconds and not work with stunts mode. TRUCK only send the records to dedimania at the end of the challenge.
REadOnly is "0" and still not working .. An example, in server I had played the track "Very Short 02 ²" and I made "12:52 sec", in that moment my score was in 2nd place on dedimania. After challenge over i went to site of dedimania and TMX and my records weren't there .. I don't know why :s
When running truck, check this page on dedimania: www.dedimania.com:8002/stats and search for your server login. If the "State" of your server is "CLOSED" that meas that your connection with dedimania was closed, That indicates that your password (or comunity code) of your server account is wrong, or you have some issue with that account with dedimania. Actually Truck, does not show error messages from dedimania, so it's a bit difficult to say what is wrong. Try with a new server account, just for test purposes.
State is "Open", but I spoke with a friend and It indicates me to use another account but until here I just use the same account to server and to play and that's the problem.. :s But I don't know how to use one account just to create the server and another one to play ..
If you are using the same account for server and player, that means that you are creating a server from the game. TRUCK will not work correctly with this kind of server, since it requires some commands that are only available on the dedicated server.
